Freeman's sixteenth book is a follow-up to his 2004 novel Parade of
Days. Set in Newtown and other Bucks County environs, the book follows a
vagabond group of characters who love to read and thus form an illicit
book club. In addition, the book's narrator is grappling with the early
stages of Alzheimer's disease and wants to record his stories before he
forgets them. It's a scenario that resonates with Freeman.
Like Parade of Days, royalties from Liars' Tales of True Love will be
donated to a BCCC Foundation scholarship fund in memory of Ray Reilly, a
Bucks student who died at a young age. The scholarship benefits a
student with a physical disability or financial hardship. To learn more,
