ABOUT THE BOOK
Claudia loves butterflies. How colorful they are. How beautiful they are. And when she wishes she could bring one home, her parents give her a paint set to bring their colors home. But when winter comes, and snow, all the butterflies disappear. There is no color. Claudia puts her paints away . . . until an especially cold day when she spots a moth fly out of an old sweater. It looks like a butterfly. It flies like a butterfly. Could it become a butterfly?

A small girl with a passion for nature turns to her new passion for art as the seasons turn colder.
Claudia loves butterflies. Blue ones. Yellow ones. Purple ones with dots. And since she can't take them home, she paints them in all their beautiful colors.
Sometimes Ruby needs
just one more minute of sleep,
one more thingy for her hair,
one more push on the swing,
and one more scoop on her cone,
(and one more, and one more, and one more . . .)
until one more is just
too much.
Maybe it’s time for
just one?
If you know a someone like Ruby,
