ABOUT THE BOOK
Tony Vlahovic is a former professional baseball player. Surviving life’s strikeouts and difficult innings Tony’s journey to self-discovery lead him to helping people with disabilities live out their dreams by using his passion for baseball. “JUST NEED AN OPPORTUNITY” is full of heart and serves as a testament to what Tony has endured and conquered on and off of the field as a player and a person. This hard-nosed opportunist believes baseball is like life; it throws multiple curveballs and sliders while you’re up to bat. Once you get the opportunity to learn and study the pitcher’s specialty, you’ll knock it out of the ballpark! Whether you're a lover of the game of baseball, inspiring philanthropist, or simply the odd one out this is a sure page turner. This book is highly recommended to inspire readers to never give up, learn from their mistakes, and stay true to themselves. Your Opportunity Starts Now!

Special Olympics New Jersey set an unprecedented standard in the initiation of baseball and Vlahovic was the man for the job. His technical knowledge and passion for the sport of baseball makes him a natural leader, but his real motivation was to offer and opportunity for individuals with disabilities to play baseball.
